The Curmudgeons hosted fellow Friends for a somewhat British-themed evening of fun and frolic. Looking at a variety of English recipes and noting that most of them involved livers and kidneys, we opted to go in a different direction for the menu. That direction was Tikka Masala, an Indian dish that is quite popular with the Brits and fit in to the Beatles theme by way of the Lads' time spent in India with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. That's not that much of a stretch, is it?
After tanking up with the above over rice and some with some naan bread, it was time for The Old Curmudgeon's Beatles Trivia Quiz. There was great moaning and gnashing of teeth among those assembled as they struggled with such questions as "In what exact location along Penny Lane did the pretty nurse sell her poppies from a tray?" and "Where can you be that isn't where you're meant to be?" Winners emerged, prizes were awarded and the time had arrived to step into the "studio" and make some music.
Greg takes on lead vocals while Beth & Lauren handle backup. Grif is the stick-man & Michael does a sedentary dance with Bella.
If you look closely, you will note that this is NOT Ringo, but Jerry. He certainly looks competent with those skins.
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I thought Quaker Meetings were supposed to be silent. Anyway, I am waiting for the "Bread Rock Band" to come out before I take the plunge.
Ah, Bread! It reminds me of how, over the years, so many have wanted to MAKE IT WITH YOU & your buddy Kawazi (which is not really a winter holiday).
