Today Lauren is officially 8 years old!
The Old Curmudgeon took the evening off from work to have dinner (a fantastic lasagna!) and enjoy the opening of the presents. The Birthday Girl seemed quite pleased with her tribute.
Grif, on the other hand, seemed singularly unimpressed.

I can fully empathize with Lauren. I too had an older brother who was quite resentful of any attention which was rightfully showered upon me. He used to go around the house complaining, 'Everybody loves Ronald!'
